I am looking for any and all medical opinions. Even from the mystery political commentator on Hillenblog.
I woke up Tuesday morning and could hardly walk on my right foot. There is a shooting pain in and below the bone in my arch and it is radiating up the back of my calf. I can put some weight on it ( probably more weight if my weight loss plan had worked), I can't stand on it alone, walking is extremely painful and Jackson says that I go up the stairs like a baby. There is a little swelling and the area is red.
Here is my weekend.
Saturday- Hiked 7 miles and went caving. Felt fine
Sunday- Church and played water volleyball. Felt fin
Monday- Played washers and ate. Felt fine
Tuesday- Woke up and felt like someone ran over my foot.
Wednesday- Same as Tuesday
What do you think?
If it still hurts on Thursday I am going to the doctor. So whoever guesses the correct diagnosis will get a prize.

Sounds to me like plantar fasciitis.I am sorry you are in so much pain. NOT FUN!
Both the Masseuse and the Electrical Parts Salesman in my building think it is “The Gout”. Plantar fasciitis sounds more exciting than “The Gout”.

You sound like you dad now! And walking like me. But both diagnosis sound somewhat like what you have. Guess doctor is the next step.

Could be a stress fracture. Just a guess from an old ortho nurse.
